Versatile Loading / Execution Options

CSS / SCSS, JS and HTML

  • Load the code as a file or inline.
  • Position in the <head>, <body> or <footer>.
  • Load on the frontend, in the admin and/or on the login page.
  • Conditional logic for frontend loading by type of page, post type, single page/post/CPT, URL, taxonomy, taxonomy term, login status, user role and device type (desktop/tablet/mobile). For CSS snippet, the "type of page" option includes the block editor.
  • Set load priority / order, relative to other snippets.

PHP

  • Execute always (on page load), manually (on demand) or via a secure URL.
  • Execute on page load via a select hook or with a shortcode. 
  • Execute everywhere, on the frontend or in the admin. Specify further in your code.
  • Set execution priority / order, relative to other snippets.

Safe Mode and Error Stack Trace for PHP Snippets

Automatic Safe Mode Activation

When a fatal error occurs, safe mode will automatically be activated and all PHP snippet executions will be halted to keep your site up and running.

Error Stack Trace for Troubleshooting

Error stack trace will be recorded and shown upon saving the snippet to help you fix the error.

When an error can not be tied to a specific, active PHP snippet, it will be recorded in a dedicated error log page for further investigation.

Code Revisions

Have peace of mind that all your edits are safely stored as revisions. Easily compare between any two revisions and revert back to any revision.

Export and Import

Easily export your favorite code snippets. Choose all snippets, active snippets only, snippets by type or category, or manually select snippets.  Import them to new / existing sites as needed. 

File-Based Snippets

Snippets are stored in and loaded/executed from the file system for optimal performance.
